Mental Well-being Webinar Series

Are you a Parent or a Professional Working with Children or Young People?

If so, then I would like to invite you to join me for a live online training focusing on 4 key areas that all parents and professionals working with children need to know to be able to fully support a child’s emotional and mental development.

It is of no shock to you, I’m sure, to learn that mental health and well-being problems are steeply on the rise in one of our most vulnerable groups – children. The number of cases of children with stress, anxiety and depression is soaring and professionals are hard pushed to cater for these challenges. Parents are often at a loss as to how to best support their child (and children do not always like to take advice from their parents!)

In fact in a study of secondary school pupils who were asked “Who would you go to if you had a concern about your mental health?

  • Your parent
  • Your teacher
  • Your doctor”

Guess which one the majority of students chose?
(I’ll tell you the answer on the first webinar!)

For many years the NLP4Kids team and I have worked hard to develop traditional NLP techniques, into a format and language that can be used with children and young people.

The key has really been to take complex methodologies and make them as simple as possible.

Recently I have been asked a lot about how I can share the skills I have developed in the most cost effective way for parents and professionals who are working with children or young people.

That’s why I’ve decided to put together a 4 part online training.

During the four week programme, I will share with you techniques, strategies and case studies, normally reserved for our live NLP4Kids training.

You will be provided with:

  • Live online training for up to 4 weeks
  • Worksheets to compliment each online training
  • A copy of a recording from each course you book to attend
  • A certification of attendance for each course you attend

Gemma Bailey, Director of NLP4KidsPrior to becoming a trainer of NLP, I was a nursery manager and also worked for the NHS as a community nursery nurse, amongst a whole host of other experiences working with children and families. I (Gemma Bailey) will be hosting each of the four webinars and I will be sharing with you my experience and skills that I have developed from a long career combining my experience with children and my NLP skills. I now train and mentor the NLP4Kids team as well as continuing my professional coaching practice and delivering NLP4Kids in schools to children, parents and teachers.

When I created NLP4Kids in 2007 many people thought that there just wasn’t going to be a need for this sort of work. Sadly they were wrong. Mental health and well-being issues, is a cause for many social ills and doesn’t just put a strain on family dynamics and classroom environments. It creates a much wider ripple effect in your community. That’s why I want as many professionals and parents to access this training as possible.

Trust me, the simplest and smallest adjustments can make a very big difference to a young persons life.

Choosing the 4 hot topics to share hasn’t been an easy decision! I wanted to give you as much diversity in knowledge as possible, whilst also making sure we covered some of the fundamental basics.
